These exempt practitioners may use the terms 'bodywork', 'body worker' and 'bodywork therapist' in their promotional literature.

I'm pretty sure that most of these places don't care about licensing whereas "bodywork" doesn't trigger the licensing law. Same goes for foot rubs or reflexology, no license required.

My guess is if they are using the licensing angle, will impact places at different times. Basically when it is time to renew. Sucks if your license is up now, but places that have time hopefully can figure out how to get around the BS.

That's interesting and suggests that can't acquired Highland which to my recollection never had a rep for FS or even decent HE for that matter. I don't know! Just giving you Guys a Heads-up of a few unannounced Closings and the Chatter east of you. As Lusty said, they don't all close, if State clamps down. Just have to see what happens, but don't be surprised.

I've never been out to Worcester to sample your Establishments, but just to give you guys a Heads Up, my Place in Waltham recently Closed, and it appears there are also 2 others that just Closed, which makes 3 Total now. It would seem the State Licensing Board is cracking down. Could explain why Can't is Closed. Others may follow. Keep an eye out. Refer to Boston Massage Parlor Thread.
