When you first contact someone on FB. How do you start a conversation? Even though you can be fairly certain that they are in that line of work. How do you word it just in case they are not. I've seen opportunities myself to contact when they are friends of a friend that I know that is in the business. But too scared to send a message because if I'm wrong then it can be uncomfortable.

So, unless it's a definite, "friend", who's in the biz, yes, you've got to be careful. But I like searching for the UTR's anyhow. But it DOES require much more work.
