How come there are no strip clubs in Pontiac? I feel like Pontiac used to have some and they were all closed down? I would love to hear stories about these!

Also, When did Pontiac shut down their strip clubs? I feel like they should allow them and make some nice revenue for their city.

Maybe they were open in my 20's but I mainly hung around Detroit and not Pontiac.

It was probably nitrous oxide instead of helium. Distributed in balloons perhaps. It's pretty popular in after hours clubs.

That makes sense, yes, balloons were the distribution method, so my naive assumption was that it was helium.

I can't confirm the location I went to is even up and running currently as it's been a few years but they're all in Detroit. Won't post any more details than that publicly regarding location.

I'll describe it briefly here from my experience though for those curious. Unmarked door in a busier part downtown between some established businesses. You would never expect to see something like this where it is. Knock on it, guy opens it into a little room and makes a judgement call right away whether you get let in or not. If you seem nervous, uncomfortable or look like LEO, he tells you to go away. Note you're not at the club yet. Assuming you get let in, they ask for your phones and tape up the camera portion then let you take the elevator upstairs to where the action is.

Once there, and assuming you're there after the strip clubs close (they're "after hours" after all), it seems almost like a regular strip club except most of the girls are just in regular clothes. Some are just hanging out, socializing, some are definitely looking to make extra cash after hours so what happens next is YMMV. And oh yeah, drugs. So many drugs of all sorts. Basically just a party until the drugs wear out or people get tired. I didn't go too often, way past my bedtime most nights haha.
