Don't matter what kind of terms you use. That's the whole point. Once you respond to their frivolous ad and show up, you are basically dead meat unless you get out of there pronto without saying a word. I bet that dude took a plea bargain and didn't stand trial. I was offered a plea deal with loads of community service and told the ADA to stick it up their ass. I went to court and got "time served", the 3 hours I spent in central booking, no probation or anything else. I would have preferred 60 days to years of probation but it didn't even get that far. The state's attorney was pissed.
