Posts: 5266I know, you like to fight
And you think snark makes an argument. I understand that the count lags, does it lag 8 months? Where is this spike in deaths reflected in the total number of dead for the year? The devil is indeed in the details son and you're overlooking the most glaringly obvious ones because they don't fit the narrative you have chosen. Actually you are probably trolling left wing sites talking about the scamdemic as well. We both know it's just about fighting with you.

And when that number is 2. 85 million then I'm sure the epidemiologists that have been telling us that number doesn't mean what it obviously means will have a different spin. Even if it lagged the presence of 300,000 additional deaths from a novel virus would be reflected in incomplete counts. 300,000 deaths is 10% of the total number of expected deaths. There was a massive spike in corona deaths from March to May, 7 months has passed since then, it's not showing in the daily average deaths.

Sorry, it's not going to be there. Maybe a few because as the CDC says 6% of the 300,000 had only covid listed is a cause of death 94% had an average of 2. 9 of the following illnesses or conditions.
Cancer.
Chronic kidney disease.
COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
Heart conditions, such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, or cardiomyopathies.
Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from solid organ transplant.
Obesity (body mass index BMI of 30 kg / m2 or higher but < 40 kg / m2).
Severe Obesity (BMI ≥ 40 kg / m2).
Pregnancy.
Sickle cell disease.
Smoking.
Asthma (moderate-to-severe).
Cerebrovascular disease (affects blood vessels and blood supply to the brain).
Cystic fibrosis.
Hypertension or high blood pressure.
Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from blood or bone marrow transplant, immune deficiencies, HIV, use of corticosteroids, or use of other immune weakening medicines.
Neurologic conditions, such as dementia.
Liver disease.
Overweight (BMI 25 kg / m2, but < 30 kg / m2).
Pulmonary fibrosis (having damaged or scarred lung tissues).
Thalassemia (a type of blood disorder).
Type 1 diabetes mellitus.
So in fact, 91% have been over the age of 55 and 94% of them had on average of nearly 3 life threatening diseases in addition to covid.
These are facts, I know they don't fit your narrative but they are the facts none the less.
In February it's going to be right at 867.8 that died per 100,000 people which is exactly what was projected at the beginning of 2020 before covid was a thing.

I'm a bottom line kind of guy. Are there more deaths this year than expected? CDC calls these excess deaths. The country is at 115% NOT LESS.

Posts: 227NOTE: Number of deaths reported in this table are the total number of deaths received and coded as of the date of analysis and do not represent all deaths that occurred in that period. Counts of death occurring before or after the reporting period are not included in the table.
*Data during this period are incomplete because of the lag in time between when the death occurred and when the death certificate is completed, submitted to NCHS and processed for reporting purposes. This delay can range from 1 week to 8 weeks or more, depending on the jurisdiction and cause of death.
You have to wait until at least February to get complete numbers. My numbers are also from cdc. Gov. Of deaths the past 12 months.

So you're probably missing about 3 weeks at the beginning of the year and 4 more thru Dec. 16 and 2 more to go. Thats 9 weeks missing for the year 2020. So 2777 x 52/43= 3358 for 2020 when the tally becomes final.
The devil is in the detail son.

Posts: 5266Maybe you can help explain this
According to the US mortality rate is 867.8 per 100,000 people. That means that about 2. 85 million people die every year of all causes in the US. That's everything, cancer, heart attacks, falling off bridges, everything. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm.

One of the epidemiologists told me I was unqualified to ask the question, yet apparently the King of Sweden can have medical opinions, and the other told me it was due to less deaths from car accidents until I looked it up and found out that yes, deaths from car accidents are down but only by 3% and only 38,000 people die from car wrecks a year.
So maybe you can tell me why as of yesterday with 12 days to go in the year, only 2,777,572 have died so far when before covid we were expecting 2. 85 million to die in 2020?
I can give you a hint, less than 7000 people have died from influenza this year, that number is usually around 40,000. Heart disease deaths down, cancer down, but the same number of people dying of all causes.
Before you fingerwag me, do some homework, everything I just said is right here.

It's not info wars, it's not Faux News nor Breitbart News, it's not some alt Right site, it's the CDC.

America worst in the world. Yes, IF you believe that China, with ONE BILLION more people than the US who have been exposed to corona longer than anybody else on the planet, the country that literally threw the doctor who identified covid 19 into prison for informing the WHO, who most likely killed that same doctor, which has ZERO history of government transparency, is actually telling the truth when they say they have had 4500 deaths and 85,000 cases. Seriously, if you're buying that I have a bridge in Brooklyn you may be interested in...

Here's another one, The King of Sweden isn't a doctor, the head of medicine in Sweden is. I'm going with him. All of the left leaning press has been excoriating him for taking a reasonable approach to covid, yet they are already on the back side of the second wave.
However, since saving lives is important to you maybe stop killing these people team lockdown has already destroyed the lives of 5% of the worlds population, are you going to go for another half a billion?

No response on your completely retarded statement about Sweden though huh?
Kinda tough to stick with your statement about Sweden when the King of Sweden comes out and says they completely got it wrong. But what does he know right? He's only the King of Sweden. LOL.
Bro I have proven multiple statements by you to be completely incorrect. And each time you either ignore the proof or make some other dumb ass statement.
So please. Prove just one thing in that post of mine that is incorrect. With actual proof, not your opinion.

Posts: 47I might take you up on that sometime.
My father was in the Navy. I was actually born on a Naval Base. Spent my early years all over the country. Charleston, San Diego (El Cajon) , Seattle (Pudget Sound). Then we moved back to Detroit in the early 80's. I lived on Patton on the west side. Ended up enlisting myself and spent time in Somalia and Sri Lanka.
