Nothing to be worried about. Shit like that happens all the time.

They don't want to lose a customer because now you're thinking of going to another spot so they play like that especially if you're trying to get something going on the same day.

Is why I always do the ask first and plan ahead and limit who I'm referencing. If you're trying to do a same day appointment the fail rate is higher from my experience.

If you've been to HOJ like most have you could have gone through Amie she'd help get you through the screening as Chief suggested. Or just have more than just them be your way in.

Goes double for independents. I had this one girl take like more than 3 days before she responded to a reference request from another date all the while sending me texts why I don't see her instead.
