They started charging when TER got shut down. They quickly filled the void. At first you could at least see ratings and opening comments. Later they looked it down. They also used to give you premium access if you posted two reviews a month. They nixed that because too many people were posting bogus reviews just to save the 30 bucks or so to join. Is it worth it? Depends. It really depends on your standards. It is all so subjective.
