It's been on the uptrend for a few years now. In the 90's and early 2000's there was much younger girls in my experience. Then DHS started turning away girls after landing which probably discourages some to visit. Lastly, if they are pretty enough, there's enough of a market in Korea so why would they need to come all the way to the states at this point, especially with covid. ?

Very true about the age! I believe that there could be two factors that current administration has tougher immigration and VISA policy. While on surface Korean national can stay in USA for 1 year, they still need visa and it is tougher to get visa. In addition, I believe due to covid-19, not to many foreign national want travel to USA at the moment.
