While we are on the subject, I heard a story from a Drew Park worker. There is one particular neighbourhood women who panhandles Air Cargo Road and Hillsborough Avenue every day. Her boyfriend sit nearby and she rakes it in. Once a LEO decided to arrest her for something. He saw that she had more than $400 from panhandling and asked why did she keep panhandling when she already had so much money. She said it is her job and she does that every day. The officer handed the money to her boyfriend and took her into custody.

I have heard many stories from a variety of people about panhandlers in Tampa making $200 daily (males). Would they be out there if it did not pay?
