First, I'm a firm believer in masks. The big question is, how is anyone going to enforce it? Go to any public beach and watch the hordes in close proximity to each other. One would need an Army of police to ensure complete enforcement of any nationwide mask law. Biden said in the debate that he'd mandate mask wearing. Almost spit out my coffee when I heard that.

The US is one of the few countries in the world without some sort of national healthcare system, which is baffling if not disgraceful. That being said, many of the national systems are not working as envisioned.

My British mother-in-law needed a new hip. The waiting time under the national system was over six months, so she used private insurance to get it done. It seems that for anything more than a case of the sniffles, she uses her private insurance, which begs the question of why she has to pay for two systems in order to get healthcare.

I truly believe that a national healthcare system is essential to the future of this country. The problem is that no-one, including me, has any realistic plan to implement one that is effective, obtainable, and affordable. Full, complete, and timely systems are prohibitively expensive while cheap systems result in poorer healthcare and longer waits for service for everyone.

John Ossoff does not have the answer. Unfortunately, neither does anyone else.

First off, read the constitution and tell me exactly where the government is even supposed to be involved in health care? Second, if you force single payer you essentially make healthcare workers the new slaves because your forcing them to work at wages someone else sets forth and innovation will be down the tubes because there will be no financial incentive.

HOWEVER. There is one element to his commercial that is true. Government cannot barter for drug prices but the Democrats are equally guilty of climbing into bed with Big Pharma as the Republicans. That one piece of the equation is truly an orgy with Dems, Reps, and Big Pharma.

I never said that the constitution wants government to be involved in healthcare. Please understand that, I'm asking for the opinions of others. Let's make that clear.

Furthermore, I believe Obamacare is broken and cannot last in the long run. I don't really have the solution, but I do believe healthcare is a basic human right. Or at least it should be.

You shouldn't be able to let a man die or suffer, just because he can't afford healthcare. That's my most liberal viewpoint.

I don't know what. But something needs to be done about big pharma. I wish I had the solution, but inflation, and the business aspect of healthcare leads to great corruption.

I feel sorry for those with a serious Illness, and no money.

I don't think Biden and Harris have the solution though.
