I wasn't comparing my professional career security with someone's life security. The whole point of my post is that while I guard my privacy, I also acknowledge the need for providers to feel some sense of safety. Oh the irony of women asking for information to "feel safe", when providing such information would make the guys "feel unsafe". I wonder how much business they know they lose making work information a requirement.
