Now, at this point, during my hour wait, I received a text from an unfamiliar number that starts (954) 800-xxxx. The texted states, "Don't call this number no more". I inform them that I didn't contact that number and ask, "Who are you? They reply, "Star". After no success with any other providers, I throw in the towel and decide to head home. Just as I get on the highway Star replies. We text back and forth with me telling her about the other text from the (954) number which says she doesn't know who it is. She reassures me and I head back towards Deltona. Forty five minutes later I'm on Saxon Blvd. In Deltona. It took her a while to reply. When she does reply, I get the old, "My room mates may not leave so we may have to do the date in your car" routine. At that point, I tell her that I see where this is going and that I'm simply going to go home. Previous to this, while I was still in Ormond, when I said that I would come see her, she thanked me adding, "I can really use the money". Well there it is. Almost the entire, sad, time wasting story. I left Jacksonville at about 5 pm and didn't get home until a little after 10. Star appears to be a time wasting scam artist and nothing more.
