Posts: 127Don't Pay them a Dime
Even if they do have your real contact information, there are tons of ways they could've accessed it. Maybe you claim they got your information from LinkedIn or some other public listing with your information and threatened to make up a story to blackmail you. Unless they have video of you, or some other identifying information within a written message thread, they have nothing. Their word (criminals) against yours.

But if you really want to do it justice, you'll need a bunch of over the top detailed quotes that sound like a cross between 70's porn and a Marx Brothers skit. For example:
"Hey pal, why don't you watch where you point that thing. You might poke somebody's eye out!

Posts: 534Unless they point out specific information that is relevant to you and your personal life, I would say they are just BS'ing. They have no motivation to try to ruin your life. They have every motivation to get you to bend and profit from the threat. I would ignore, but not block them. This would give them an opportunity to provide any proof that they can really do what they say while leaving you an opportunity to respond only if you see they can prove a real threat.

Posts: 1571That's what I'd do. Block and ignore. It's probably a fake profile anyway and some asshole in India or other foreign country is behind it. Unless you gave them specific real life details and use your regular phone # (not burner) they don't have any clue who you are or if you're real or who your wife may or may not be.

EDITOR'S NOTE: This report was deleted because it contributed nothing of value and in fact constituted a complete waste of bandwidth.
The purpose of this Forum is to provide for the exchange if information between men on the subject of finding women for sex. Let's stick to the subject.

It was on doublelist and to your point they advertised that they were married and looking so they knew I was married.

While a lawyer won't laugh at your predicament like cops will, it can cost $150+ just to chat with one for 15-30 min. Worse, they can't do anything. A monger suing an escort is like a user suing a drug dealer. Judges / juries will not be sympathetic, and the only way to win in court would be to confirm you tried breaking the law.
For my two cents, how to proceed depends on how they know you have a wife.
- If you happened to mention it yourself, then ignore them. They are guessing and trying to scare you into giving them cash, and there's a decent chance they are too lazy to do proper research and find who your wife is.
- If you never mentioned anything about having a wife, then I'm afraid I don't see many options. If they did the research already, they are willing to put work into this.
I don't want to get into how to handle your wife since that's none of my business, but you should prepare for how to explain all this to her. Regardless, I'm sorry you're going through this! Would you consider listing the girl and site here so others can avoid them?

I've met a few women off DL and a few couples. But it's a crap shoot if the post you are replying to is actually real or not. But even for DL, I use the email address I use for any hobby related things. There would be no way to trace it to me. And of course I use a texting app so they don't get my real phone number.

She was friends with a friend of mine and after talking and video chatting, she told me she had recorded the video and was going to send it to my family if I didn't wire her money. I just blocked the account, reported it, and let it go.

I'm not suggesting or implying anything, this is what I've seen and heard:

You are not going to impersonate anybody with that fake I'd, nor are you going to scam people or obtain benefits. I've heard there are places where a person can get all kinds of Fake I'd's including work ones. Maybe you are a magician and just for entertainment purposes you want to be a Technician and your name and work place are just made-up names.
Nobody in this hobby should know your personal information especially if you have a wife and life. Most of the time you don't evenknow their real names either nor do they share any personal info with clients. A friend of mine was telling me he knows of a guy who had a Fake State I'd, Work I'd, etc and he was able to pass the verification process with no trouble at high end agencies.
Sometimes there's not much you can do in certain situations such as being robbed. But sometimes there are things you can do to prevent bad things. Keeping your identity private and secure may prevent you from real headaches.

I use a burner when they ask for work references I tell them I don't have a job or work. If keep asking of how I get income I tell them I do stuff like they do that that I cannot talk about that just how they can't talk about how they make their money. It has worked saying you sell pot or etc. You can always mess with your I'd on the computer just scan it and change the name on it and address.

Posts: 381I thought this exact same thing. I'm from Peoria area originally, moved to Chicago out of college and now live back downstate. Travel frequently for work and the only place I've ever been robbed (by a provider) is in Kansas City. Dashed with the cash. I spent at least 5 years roaming around downtown Chicago. It's like any other city. If the part you are in looks like a chit hole then it is.

Posts: 430I use a texting app with a number only for the hobby and also an email dedicated to the hobby but how do you create a new identity? I switched from pro to SA and prior to that used an agency for a year so haven't bothered with verification but back in the day providers wanted 2 references or to check your work I'd and I have selectively given my info to some providers but how do you create a fake work badge for John Smith.

This one does. She advertised it and I had never been with a squirter, so I requested it. kept my face close to her crotch. She began to squirt and it startled the hell out of me. I pulled my head back because I wasn't expecting that much fluid, but she coated my face anyway.
