Those cases merely prove Beyond a Reasonable Doubt that it isn't necessary to cross state lines for this statute to apply.

While there were concomitant trafficking charges, there were CLEARLY separate charges for "Transporting a prostitute" It ISN'T "transporting a prostitute BY A PIMP"

OK, I have to chime in now. TT, come on, you cannot be that naïve. Those cases are clearly charges of "operating" escort services involving trafficking, accepting earnings, etc. NONE of that relates to transporting / driving a prostitute in your car. Those charges are stemmed from ongoing investigations and surveillance from stings and intel. There isn't a chance a single person will be charged with anything remotely close to that nor doing 20 years for driving a woman who is deemed a prostitute. Seriously considering letting it go. You're not doing yourself justice with your credibility. .
