I agree I feel it has to be some life changing monumental experience for me to spend over 300.

I agree with this. I USUALLY pre-negotiate BBFS by phone, text, or email. When I do not, it is only because VERY reliable positive intel exists, and I don't want to scare her off!

But in one case, with a SoCal lady whom I was unsure would be scared off, I used two different phones. I asked for BBFS on one, and on one I didn't. I got a rate of 250/ HR for the query without BBFS pre-negotiation. And I got a rate of 300 with BBFS.
