What is interesting to point out are weird patterns that are probably indicative of scams. One example: on Secret Benefits, there was a cluster of girls on the site (more than a dozen) who listed their location as George, Washington. George is a tiny village along I-90 between Vantage and Moses Lake. It seemed unlikely to me that there were so many attractive young ladies there looking for arrangements. Sure enough, in communications with several of them it became quickly obvious is that none of them lived in George or even in the state.

Another example: there was a girl on SA a couple of years ago who listed as their city a town that no longer exists. Literally. There is a sign along the highway where the town site was. Literally nobody lives within a dozen miles of the town site.

I also look for profile pictures that are clearly identifiable as being in the area. That at least means they made an effort if the pictures are fake, and likely means that the girl in the profile pictures actually exists.

My assumption, and it is a safe one, is that all of the girls on those sites are scammers until they are standing naked in front of me. And even then I won't trust them very much.
For me, it seems it's never one obvious thing anymore since the scammers have gotten more sophisticated but more that a bunch of little things that don't add up. If I'm chatting with them, I'll play dumb and start asking leading questions to try to catch them in lies or contradictions.

    That I agree.
It wasn't with this particular reply but I did say in an earlier post that I don't bother reporting the scammers on SA but I just block them and post on here.

Yes, can't stress this enough. The payment for these girls is for a date, it lasts as long as it lasts, multiple rounds of sex, hanging out, whatever.

    That I agree.

Does any body recognize her as an escort? She looks familiar from escort sites to me and she behaves like professional. She talked about getting the room or me sending her the hotel address where I am and the room number.

I told her that I went online and that all of her photos she had on her profile were changed to a completely different person, that's she's supposed to be from Seattle but is unaware of any neighborhoods besides "downtown" and has ghosted me twice when we were supposed to meet up. So, I believe she's a scam and won't be meeting her. After 6 hours of nothing, her response was, "Could you cash app me 30 $ for gas, I seriously need it bad right now, I wouldn't be asking if I didn't" . So there you go, what also caught my attention was that she put the $ after the 30 instead of in front of it. Americans don't do that, but it is common in Eastern Europe.
I always felt it was better to just block the scammers than to respond back with the reasons as to why you think they are scammers. My thinking is that by telling why you think they are a scam, you are giving them the info they need to refine their scam so it becomes more difficult to source them out in the future.

Both asked for money in advance to meet.

The later is super obvious, she favorited me with an SA profile created the same day, asked me to switch to communicate to a 2-days old kik account.

For a long time it was buried in one of the FAQ pages and I think in the page about reporting abuse.

Some of the girls on there also, in addition to being available to us for fun, also "work" for the site and handle the support requests, snoop on and censor private messages, and handle user reports. She told me that the policy at the time was that if someone made more than 10 reports in a month they were to be banned. I don't know if that policy has changed but it is one more reason I don't really miss SA.

But it became too much of a hassle with providing the documentation to SA and it didn't really seem to make a difference. Since it blocks them when you submitted your report, you couldn't check to see if SA actually removed the scammer. So I just started posting the scammers profile on here before blocking them on my own without the additional hassle of providing SA the documentation.
They may have changed that policy. I remember that in the past, I would report someone and immediately was blocked from their profile, the last couple of times I reported someone they were no longer accessible to me after about 12 hours for one and 15 minutes for the other. I assumed they removed them from the site. Both were blatant scams, one messaged me and asked if I can order a pizza for her, the other one told me that I need to cashapp her funds before I can see her private online photos.

So, to me the 24th makes sense, as it is just about a week before the quarter starts. So it may not be a conspiracy to scam mongers.
Ahh that makes sense but I'll definitely wait until they are actually here and willing to meet in person.
