The few higher end here in Jax that have asked for donation upfront That I've seen have been legit. Basically if they are on P411, chances are it's not a scam. This may cause others to ask for donations who aren't as high end, but I don't see them so I don't care. What does that deposit get me? You get what you pay for.

I used to live in the NJ / NYC area. Deposits were not rare up there for high-end talent. There was an upper class of providers that you had to do that for. And there was a middle class in which the prices were more reasonable, but deposits were helpful to guarantee appointments. Rates were higher, too. Screening was mandatory.

For that, you got a much better chance at a great session / dream. Was it perfect? No. But it was much better than what we have here in Jacksonville.
