Earlier this afternoon I planned a night out to seek some Covid relief. I called my two favorite locals only to receive no answer and then went to voice mail I left messages at both in hopes that I would receive a call back. After not receiving a call back I checked out Rubratings and STG. On STG I found a listing for a location in Winter Park, that I had been to in the past under the name Blue Sky. The name now on the business cards at the window is Blue Bay Spa. I called them at approximately 6:30 and confirmed that they were open and was told they close at 11:00, and that two providers were working this evening. Now to explain the Title. I walk into the lobby shortly after 9:00, and hear a door chime as I enter. I wait at the window for several minutes and no one comes to the window, so I ring the bell at the window. I again wait several minutes, and still no response. I again ring the bell and call out through the open, and again wait with no reply. I then called the phone number on the card and was answered by a woman. I asked her if they were busy. She replies no, and I tell her that I am in the lobby and relate the information as noted here. She says wait a minute, then the phone disconnects. I wait a few more minutes with still no response. I ring the bell one more time, wait a minute or two with still no response. I called out through the window that it's a pathetic way to do business, and left. So for those of you that have been ghosted by independent providers, I think this beats those occasions hands down. So my thoughts are if they don't want to provide service after being called and walking in then perhaps we can help them by helping them to find other work. I also tried the web site that is on their business card and that doesn't work either.

I don't have much experience with AMPs. The plaza where this is located is very busy and somewhat congested which made the entry and exit a little curious as to whether a might encounter someone I know. It might be best to call ahead. The gal that gave me a massage was, young, very attractive and was dressed in a very cute outfit. The ad you posted claims there a new gals every two weeks so who knows who will be there. I sorta discussed some service options which seems expensive. I might repeat.

I have been in the same position several times and couldn't wait any longer or wasn't pleased with my provider and asked for my money back. Of course they tried to convince me to stay but in the end I have always gotten my money back without any problem at all. As long as you keep your cool and treat them with respect they will usually do the same in return. In my case it has always worked.

The first time I tried to avoid such a situation, I asked to hold on to my money until the masseuse is available. They weren't thrilled, but they let me wait in the room. I've also asked for my money back at MC before too due to a long wait. Kiko wasn't happy at first, but I just explained I was going to run errands and come back, which I actually did. I was respectful each time, and the previous few times I went, they seemed to get the idea that I'm not able to wait around and are honest about wait times.

Doesn't matter about the service. Doesn't matter about the inconvenience. Doesn't matter about the wait. In my experience, most any Chinese mamasan believes that, once the money has originally left your hand and passed to hers, that money is NEVER coming back to you without a fight, or a scene, or hair-pulling, or name-calling, or ball-kicking. I'd say you're lucky to have gotten out of there simply being banned! While unfortunate, unfair, and without a scrap of customer service, I think that's the reality of what's going on in their minds.

Nonetheless, I'm glad you stood your ground and refused to tolerate that treatment. I'm sure she's counting on you reporting it just to discourage any other guys from trying to pry money out of her hand that way! LOL

Thankfully I was able to get my refund without any more issues. But seriously, I don't know what the deal is but most AMP's are now making you wait a long time or try to get you to see someone else. They need to stop treating their customers like crap or they'll going to lose their business. Stay safe.
