Agreed. Some guys love spending a lot of money on a hot girl purely because it makes them feel like they are buying something premium and exclusive. Nothing exclusive in a girl who sees 5 guys a day, so from that perspective a girl who offers stellar service for 220 is not worth it.

I'm completely done with this pricing thread, but these last few posts made me smile. I had these same type of arguments when I was in college getting my MBA. It's ironic because the hookers think that we are all stupid and they are so much smarter than us. But even on this site (where they think we are all low-lifes), it's obvious that many, if not most of us, are well-educated. We may not have degrees in sucking dick, but we have enough of an education where we can find legal employment to pay their dumb asses.

Posters here seem to run the full social gamut. Unfortunately there are some misogynist assholes, which is why some providers hate this site, but not all of are. Something I really appreciate is that this site seems to encourage people to be pretty open about who they are. This isn't the say all posts are credible or honest, but eventually most of us figure who's credible and who isn't. For instance, while we obviously disagree on some things, you do seem genuine and credible, which I appreciate.

All of this discussion of supply and demand made me remember "Veblen Goods", which are goods where the high price is a feature and makes demand for the good increase, not decrease.

A good example is MacAllan's Scotch Whiskey, which went from about $300 for a bottle of thirty-year-old scotch 15 years ago to around $3000 today, yet it still sells and people still buy it -- actually it is even harder to get now because more people know about it. A high-end girl who is hot as f* shows up on time, is discreet, and very compliant is kind of like that bottle of fantastic scotch. Sure, I could drink wild turkey.

I bought a bottle of the good stuff in March and I swore I'd open it when this covid crap is over.

What I'm saying is that the world is a little too complicated to expect that any kind of coordinated effort by hobbyists is going to have much impact on what the girls try to charge. You can make your own decisions and more power to you if you do, but again don't expect to change the world by not paying girls more than $200 or whatever.

Higher rates attract wealthier clientele, the kind that is able to afford multiple hours at $500 per hour easily. Would you rather fuck 5 guys at 200 hour, or spend 2 hours with a wealthy regular?

Maybe she has a civvie job and an extra $800 a week is enough for her.

I agree situations are highly variable and providers with a good 'normal' job might only do it for a little extra money and can afford to charge more and be selective, esp if they are attractive, clean, and drug-free. But many, I would venture to say most providers aren't in this situation. Many either don't have a standard job or have one that doesn't pay well, might not be as attractive, etc. These providers obviously need the money more and aren't just doing it as a side hustle.

... I know what I will pay and won't go above my limit. That being said, there I never felt that I "had" to get with a hooker. I don't know if I'm old and jaded, but you can have the most gorgeous woman in the world offer to get with me for $1000 and I'd be like, "no, sorry", I'll go with the above average chick for $300. It's not that I couldn't afford the $1,000; it's simply that a sexual experience isn't worth $1,000 to me. Maybe one day it will be, but probably not in this decade. As I said before, I've been off the hookers / escorts for about a year now and have been using SA where I feel I have a better connection, but if I go back to seeing escorts, I know that there will always be attractive women that provide good service in my price range. Some will charge $500-750 hr, but for every one of those there will be 10 that charge $150-250/ hr.

Exactly. I won't pay $400+ per hour for the same reason I won't pay $150 for dinner at a swanky restaurant; even though I can sometimes afford it, it's not worth it to me when other perfectly good options are available for less money. I'd much rather spend $250 for a session and $50 on a nice dinner and still have some money left for other things rather than blowing $400 on a provider.
