I did this for years, and found that it just made things simple as you note. If there was nothing to be had there, I generally. Not always (Portland is a particular example) - found that the additional dollars were left undisturbed.

That's pretty much what I do. I don't visit the places that want higher base amounts since there are so many $60 for one hour places available. I haven't found that paying $70 or more base results in any better experience.

Same with me, regarding the $60 an hour "house fee". But I don't lay anything extra out.

Also, look at my review of the Asia massage in Edgewood. You'll see I paid the "normal" total of $100 for a hand job (including the $60 house fee). Plus, I did get a full hour (and then some).

Normally house is 60 or 70 for 1 h. For HE only with no roaming, I only tip 40. If that allow roaming, I tip between 50 and 60.
