You are correct. Most people will live after going through a COVID infection. Those people with pre-existing conditions, in poor health, the elderly, smokers, the obese. Most women recover from breast cancer, but the morbidity is the mastectomy or double mastectomy. I have friends who had Covid back in February who still cannot smell or taste.

I know for a fact that neurologist at Augusta Health / Medical College of Georgia are currently enrolling post-COVID patients in a study to exam both physical and neurological affects after recovery from the virus. According to those physicians that I have spoken with, we don't know the entire story of COVID, especially the post-COVID adverse affects. The bottom line, according to the neurologist, is "do what you can to avoid catching it".
