When you catch it you can bring it home to your entire family/friends possibly killing someone close to you. So that is why a provider might be more strict with covid testing than std testing. They want to protect their families/friends. And that isn't even including if the provider is high risk for dying from it.

Gina is seriously one of the nicest people you will ever meet in this business and you shouldn't make assumptions about her when you obviously don't understand her position. As someone who knows her personally, I can tell you that she is extremely cautious when it comes to the virus. She has family members that are immune compromised and is fearful of spreading the virus to them, while the fear of spreading STDS is not a realistic concern. So if she asks for a COVID test then you'll get one if you really want to see her.

If I recall, she's said that she's on PREP which means the chances of her getting HIV / AIDS is small. On the other hand, there's nothing to prevent getting Covid-19. Yet.

Its not crazy. If your immune system is compromised, the virus can kill you instantly. As each following day passes there are new countless ways that will keep you from contracting an STD that would meet the same fate.
