I wouldn't trust any provider to hold a deposit unless they are well reviewed, typically high end escorts. For an unknown to require a deposit just screams scam to me.

If you really want to test the waters here is a somewhat shady tactic that you could do with a highly suspect ad like her. Get a different text number and make her a very hefty, but reasonable offer. When she asks for a deposit offer double her normal 1 hr rate and say if you hit it off maybe you'll pay for additional hours. Be sure to tell her you can only see her right now, but you won't pay a deposit, and if she's not the girl in the picture you'll walk away. Say you are here on business so it's your one time to indulge and she is 100% your dream girl or something like that. If she still demands a deposit and passes up a big payday that'll confirm she's not real and we can ignore. However if she agrees to that, you now have reason to believe she might be worth the deposit risk. Then politely cancel the high offer (don't ghost) and come back with your regular hobby phone with the normal rate.

I will acknowledge the two-number approach is shady in that you will be intentionally misleading her. So don't be an a-hole for regular providers. But for a case that smells like a deposit scam I'd sleep fine at night wasting her time.

Saw her a few years back and she was decent. She was in a cheap motel in KZoo and I was on my way back from Firekeepers. Over all I'd say 6. 5/10.
