Guys, I write for a fellow monger you guys know who asked me to post this:
He was contacted today from a "supposed cop / fed / investigator about a missing girl. Caller said to google the number that pointed to a CLT Police dept.
The tenor of the call was aggressive and felt like entrapment. He said he was on international human trafficking investigation and that he has phone from person and that family was financing investigation. Caller played hardball saying if you hang up you will be arrested, or option two, "let me help you" pay $2300 and agree to counseling and other conditions. Feels like a shake down scam. Any thoughts? Who has the legal definition of solicitation for NC.
Any advice appreciated in a big way.

Yes, I've been filtering them for a while now. It gets most of the spam out, but will still hit a scam or two on occasion. The only downside is you will miss out on some good providers, if you don't search them too.
