Is seeking worth it anymore? I was a member on and off for a couple of years and had some hits but a lot of misses. Reading the forum it seems like more scammers than ever.

There is never a set time, since all conversations take different turns. But this is how I try to play it. Once we move to text, I try and just chat for a bit to make sure I have a good vibe, and that they seem like they are legit. Eventually I ask for a few more pics of them. Once they send, I try to move to arrangement details as well as logistics, just to make sure we are on the same page. Once its all said and done, ill tell them I need the picture, I just want to make sure they are who they say they are. If the send it, we are good to go. If not, I bail. If a chic can't send a simple selfie to prove who she is, aint no way in hell she is going to meet you somewhere to do the dirty.

I have a hard rule, I never meet a girl unless they send me a specific picture. Just a simple selfie standing in front of a mirror, holding up a certain number of fingers. Or have them jot my name on a piece of paper and hold that up. It accomplishes a few things. First off, that they are who they say they are. Can't tell you how many women I've chatted with for hours, but when you ask for that pic, they ghost you. It means they arent real. Second, It gives me a realtime pic of what they look like. And third, it lets me know they actually want to meet most of the time. If they arent willing to send a simple pic, how would you think they could do the dirty with me? If they balk at the picture, I just bail. No sense wasting any more time. If you use this method, your success rate will be much higher.

Profile says she's based in Atlanta. Texted a bit and seemed promising. When I asked her what area of the city she lived in and tried to move her to txt offsite, she came back that she lives in Raleigh. I've had a couple others misrepresent their location also.

I can't post a link bc she blocked me and probably changes her screen name regularly. She wants to meet very quickly. Her first question is "do you have cash app? Not for now but after we meet". That's all she wants to know in order to meet. You meet for coffee or a meal and she's normal it says her phone died and she needs to text her sister to remind her to leave the key out. When you give her your phone I believe she tries to send cash app to herself. Mine is on fingerprint to send and I do t think she got me but shortly afterwards she leaves abruptly and says you can come over to her place later. When I paid the lunch bill and checked my messages on SA she had blocked me. I don't think it's her in the pics but it's close to her looks. We may want to consider setting her up but I reported her. Have why'all run into this?

That's a new one to me, but hardly surprising. Plus, a lot of people are using contactless payment now, so they've set that up (I never used Apple Pay or anything until coronavirus; I was always old school with the roll of hundreds in my pocket! Now nobody wants cash!). Lots of opportunities for scams like that.

I did learn to always have my phone locked and to NEVER let ANYONE touch it unlocked back when a Follies stripper fucktoy got hold of my iPhone (this was 10 years ago) and posted something to my Twitter (or whatever ws around then). She was just doing it as a joke, and I was PISSED, more with myself (Mr. OpSec, supposedly) than with her. She was just a dumb 19 year old with a good vagina.
