I didn't say Ferndale was elite, not elite, affluent, not affluent or the place to be or anything like that. I said Ferndale's housing values were high. If you want to buy a 1920's frame bungalow you can find a less expensive one in other cities. As far as bordering Detroit making it an "elite city" killer There are parts of Grosse Point that also border Detroit (I know the housing in Grosse Point is way different) Some people may clamor to live there. To each his own, I like a lot of green space, A secure area, and living near where I play golf and work. That's basically my only criteria.

In my experience quality of a city is very different than wealth of one.

Thanks for the clarification, Road Head. I never mentioned 10 Mile & Meadowbrook, so I'm not sure where that came from. The address of the place is 26109 Novi Rd. The sign says Thai Massage & DDS. Spa. Right in between Lover's Lane and 90's Nails. I'm not sure what DDS means either, but there's no dental work going on in there.

The talent there is better than it used to be. Seemed to improve about the same time that the spas on Airport highway closed and the current Melon location became an AMP for the first time. Before that, it was all hags. Too bad the building is the same as it was 20 years ago. Melon is significantly cleaner and better equipped. The only time I get to Chang anymore is when I see more than one car in the lot at Melon. After hearing about this place for the third time, I decided to give it a try myself. Rung the bell and was greeted by Mamasan. She took me to my room then sent in my masseuse.
