I think it's more likely a matter of logistics than rudeness. It's just not really feasible to respond to every text you get when you're getting 50+ messages a day, and trying to sort through who's legit, who's playing games, etc. I don't think those older providers you're talking about get nearly as much demand for their services as she does.
