I think it's more likely a matter of logistics than rudeness. It's just not really feasible to respond to every text you get when you're getting 50+ messages a day, and trying to sort through who's legit, who's playing games, etc. I don't think those older providers you're talking about get nearly as much demand for their services as she does. But if she's never responding to someone at all after repeated attempts, there's probably an actual reason.
