A good indicator that an account is a scam is if they favorite you, or message you without ever looking at your profile. Same goes if you write the first message and they respond, but didn't look at your profile.

I was just picking up on that today. I started to get some responses but noticed they hadn't even viewed my profile.

Dimples572 is 100% correct. Are there tons of bots & scams to be had on Seeking? For sure, not going to deny that. But it's not unheard of for Premium users to turn that option of "viewing someone" off. I myself do it because it's easier when appearing to "first" view their profile by shooting them a message when I'm ready. I work long hours and most of it involves sitting at a desk. So I peruse through the SA app (which sucks) on my phone, jot down the word "maybe" under the user notes section, then check the profiles out in more detail when I get home. If I like what I see, I'll usually message 2 or 3 SBs to see if any bite.

Also (and this is kinda nitpicky), it looks better from some of these SBs' viewpoint then if she sees you viewing her profile but then messaging her a month or two after the fact.

Speaking from personal experience, I typically look at a SB's profile first before opening any message which I haven't initiated. If I'm not into them--or I don't like what I've read, I simply delete the message without responding. It's highly probable that that's what is happening there: SBs ignoring you due to not being their type, because they already have a SD lined up who's sexier (or pays better), not liking your profile content, being a bot, or a plethora of other reasons.

It's to be expected when using the site. No matter how well-written the message, how much money you have, or how much like Brad Pitt you appear, the overwhelming majority of SBs just won't reply back. And any who "read" your message while not responding after 2+ weeks? Well, that only further solidifies the assumption.

Women get 100's of messages a day, and you don't have to open a message to read the first sentence. If a woman doesn't open her SA for a couple days she will have too many messages to even read. They will scan for pix and first sentences that pop to them, and even then might miss someone good.

For that reason, I have had some success sending a follow-up message if they didn't read my first one. Saying something along the lines of "In case my 1st message got buried in your inbox and you missed it. ".

Moral of the story, make your first sentence count.
