In most cases they are but it takes scanning through reviews and knowing what to look for, which are gathered by the search tool provided. As a person becomes more established and credible in the hobby a simple PM to a certain hobbyist could offer every possible explicit detail you're looking for. But a defensive emotional response with a likely absorb claim isn't a way to help his situation or credibility with credible hobbyists.
