So is the plethora of Latinas from Follies now at Platinum?

I went to wax on Sat. There was a lot of Cubans there. Talked to a few that was from follies.

A Recent report said they were closing and I presumed that report was that they were gone for good. However, their web site (dated July7) stated that one of their staff had gotten the virus and they were closing temporarily out of precaution. So it seems they will be reopening.

I have always had a good experience at Follies with staff from dancers, bartenders, bathroom attendants and management. There's only one rude short fat blonde bartender that was rude as hell from what I can remember. I guess everyone's experience is different though. Also the bright side of Platinum so far is you don't leave smelling like cigarettes since the majority of people are smoking hookah from the times I've been.

I'm firmly in your camp. I'm from out of town and visited Follies four times over two weeks last August and was always treated nicely. Manager even politely asked me to move from my couch because somebody reserved it for a certain time. Didn't cop an attitude, just acted totally professional and courteous. Same with the bartenders. Only got a slight attitude from the guy selling weed near the bathrooms, but I realize he was there to make a profit and not enjoy titties and ass like the rest of us. If any of you want to complain about attitudes at Follies, please come up to the clubs in OH and PA where the staffs are nice but all the girls are 100 pounds overweight and missing half their teeth. I will gladly trade you the experience.

Platinum is definitely not bigger than follies, it's basically a long hallway. Half of the club is used to play pool with only two small closets as VIP rooms. If follies staff has taken over Platinum, I'd personally stay away. The only reason Platinum was cool pre shutdown is because the bartenders and staff were laid back and cool. Anyone familiar with follies knows how rude and disrespectful they were to their customers. Hell, even the bathroom trolls at follies we're jackasses.

Glad I wasn't the only one that encountered the staff attitude. Certainly not all, but some of the staff and particularly the bartenders could be extremely rude. The guy that ran the parking was always nice unless he was really overwhelmed by cars waiting to park. One phrase never uttered by a a single staff member inside was "thank you". They squeezed every single dollar they could out of the customers and dancers but the only "thank you" I ever heard was from dancers. Funny, I was chased into the parking lot at Blaze when leaving one afternoon by a bouncer screaming "Sir, Sir, thanks for coming and come again". I've even had managers at other clubs ask me if I was having a good time? Miss the Follies girls and unlimited mileage but nothing else.

Kandi from Follies messaged me telling me that there is a new follies and it is now 1905 Piedmont, which is Platinum. That is another Follies dancer there.

What is the day shift dancer mix like are the griffin girls there what about piper or luna.

As I mentioned in earlier post, it is basically Follies. Dayshifters are the same for the most part and so is the night shift. The VIP is still $50 same rules apply. Hell even the same restroom attendants work there. The only difference is the place seems bigger than what Follies was but yet more dancers available at a time. Maybe the building is physically bigger. There hasn't been a cover charge anytime I've been before 8 pm. I have even seen some dancers I haven't seen at Follies in a while before it closed down working in there.

Yeah but how much are the lap dances at Platinum? Do girls go topless or naked like they do at Follies? Is nipple sucking and FIV allowed during lappers?

I drove by Platinum tonight around 9:30 and the parking lot was packed. Lot's of cars parked on the road beside the club and guys were swarming in! Definitely had tones of what Follies was before the Shelter in Place shut them down. Would love to hear more about the similarities to Follies from any of you that have visited.

It sounds like it's kind of new but saw on the news today 2 people got shot there last night but by it being on Old Natty doesn't surprise me LOL.

Why are talking about a regular nightclub on the stripclub forum?

I agree. I'm looking for a club like Follie's day shift. I don't care if it's day or night but I want the Follie's day shift experience.

What flies day shift like? Only been there at night.
