Back about a year and a half ago, in post #3111 in this thread, I wrote the following advice:

Honestly it's rare when I ask directly. Usually they opt to hop on without a hat without a word or I see a known girl spoken about on these boards and she gives the option. The rare times I've brought it up I say it for the next time, like "ugh I wish I didn't have to wear a hat with you" or something along those lines and if she's game She'll say well next time for x amount or something. You don't. Either the provider will initiate it, without saying anything, or will ask if you want a cover. Yes, you can ask if she doesn't initiate it, but, unless she's a known provider who provides BB service, you risk a negative reaction from her (& subsequently with her booker).
