Looks like Listcrawler and Escortindex.com are the next sites falling to big governments fuckery. Big government wants no one making millions on untaxed money. I thought Listcrawler and the other site moved their home bases overseas like this site? Smh.

VPNs are a moving target: it's not something where you choose one and stick with it for years. You switch them up from time to time. Read the article and followed some the embedded links. VERY helpful. Before the reading I was going back and forth between ExpressVPN and privateinternetaccess, since both are well-reviewed, GoneforGood97 and WialdThang like enough to recommend and each allow payment using bitcoin (another anonymity feature I'm trying to integrate). I was leaning toward PIA because it was half the price, but after reading the Restore Privacy review https://restoreprivacy.com/private-internet-access/ I think I'll pass for now.

There ARE alternatives to VPNs which can offer even deeper privacy, though they're less convenient. For work I do which has to be absolutely private, I use an amnesic operating system, called TAILS, which runs off a USB stick (I use a burner notebook for this). There are others out there, like QUBES, and various Debian systems. These are actually *compromised* by using VPNs, ironically. These pretty much all have TOR integrated as their default browser (I use TOR, and BRAVE on occasion).

I'm familiar with Tor, Tails, etc. And have a working setup I use on occasion. I say "on occasion" because it doesn't take long for the "less convenient" aspects of Tor to make me care less about privacy / anonymity. I wish it weren't so, but I'm American and ain't no changing the fundamentals.

My take on privacy is that it's more secure to focus on the OS side rather than the network side (VPN); VPNs are good for spoofing location restrictions, though (like watching media which is restricted in a certain country.). Modern life isn't easy! O.

I started out looking at a VPN not as a 1-stop solution, but another layer on top of Tor, burner phones, bitcoin, etc. I've got a little more research to do but at this point I think I'm going to go with a monthly contract with ExpressVPN or one of the others on the "outside 5 eyes" list. I'm also going to set up a Tails machine for those time when I want to double down.

Again, appreciate the help and I'll try to give back once I've got my setup going.

I use privateinternetaccess. I've had it for 6 years & no complaints.

ExpressVPN works great for me, as long as you don't mind paying for it. I usually buy an annual VPN subscription on Black Friday. Cyber Monday.

I use Norton VPN, it's bundled with antivirus and lifelock for 99 a year, so basically 8 bucks a month you get a good bang for your buck.

Agreed, you will often see a charge listing for "keeping a place of prostitution". O. C. G. A. 16-6-10 defines "keeping a place of prostitution" when. A person having or exercising control over the use of any place or conveyance which would offer seclusion or shelter for the practice of prostitution knowingly grants or permits the use of such place for prostitution.
Therefore there are multiple elements to keeping a place of prostitution:
