Its absolutely appalling how dishonest some of the ad pics are! Any other business would simply not survive if a product were advertised with this degree of deception! On the other hand though, there is no recourse for the client either, no manager issuing a refund because she had to suddenly leave or the "angry boyfriend" came home (things I read in people's reviews).

I'm just wondering how to avoid getting ripped off and have a little game plan ahead of time. I guess sticking with the well reviewed ones most of the time is the best route and paying on the back end if there aren't any reviews or mixed ones.

Like I said in previous posts, I'm still new to this hobby, I'm confused about one thing though, maybe someone can clarify.

Why are people paying up front? I pay the waiter / waitress after the meal. I just picked my car up from the shop and paid after the repairs were done. The one provider I saw so far, I paid after we finished and it wasn't an issue at all.

Are they demanding that you pay upfront? That would seem like a red flag to me and I think I would just walk out and accept my loss on the gas and time spent.
