There is nothing worse than an in person confrontation where the cops get involved. "No DV" has become the phrase on the walkie I rejoice at hearing. It's really flipping scary before that as someone may be required to go to jail even for no wrong doing! And these scammers are experts of 'making a scene'. Including things like throwing glasses on the floor, ripping their clothes and the absolute crazy ones will even make themselves bleed saying complete bullshit that you did it to them to make you pay them to be quiet.

I am sure I am not the only one. Step number one? Before you say no, start recording everything such that when she 'stages' the scene of abuse, you have proof of her fabricating evidence. And I'm not joking. Do it. :/ Wish I had the balls to charge them with extortion after the fact as the site allows these SB's to remain on the site even if reported and tells you to 'contact the police'.
