I try to be courteous and avoid name calling because I've never found it to productive but this Mr. Ball Sack (Techsticles) is just a vulgar and rude individual who can't agree to disagree. I did want to mention that the rolling 7 day average daily death total for the US is at it's lowest point (596 deaths per day with Covid listed as the cause of death) since way back in March per the link listed below. If I had the intellectual horsepower of Mr. Ball Sack I would just post the graph but sadly, as a senior citizen, I struggle with such things. In any case, it does seem quite odd that the daily reported cases has been skyrocketing but the daily deaths have been dropping like a stone since early May. Funny that the CDC is just now considering that we are not at a 5% infection exposure rate but it could actually be tremendously higher! Of course the doubters will say the deaths will soon follow in a tidal wave but the Virus just hasn't been following that model to this point. So yes, the 70% have it figured out. Thanks and stay safe (even Mr. Ball Sack), and of course protect the sick and elderly while we get on with our lives.

70,000 Americans are dead, if they died in a car everyone would say take the car off the road.

Old people do die in wrecks and have troubles there that others don't. They get THEIR license taken away. You didn't loose your right to drive because of it. I have known several people that have caught it. They say it is not as bad as having the flu.

We have a family member that works in the morgue hospital system, its crazy to hear him talk about all the "people that died from covid19 that didn't ", he says the hospitals get 3 k per covid death. 0. 00 if they die of natural causes, ie flu, pneumonia, old age ect.

A report today said that 500,000 world wide have died from the coronavirus. That is still less than 1%. Fact unless you have a underlying health condition or are predisposed to heart failure lung disease or other preconditions there is a 95% chance (and that number is low) of you surviving the disease. I have friends in the medical field here in Atlanta and they are not seeing bodies piling up in the intensive care unit they're not having to stack them like cordwood in the morgue. ICU capacity is somewhere around 37%. While the local TV stations only reporting cases and not the number of deaths if this was the black plague like main stream media is saying it is they would be lined up at every hospital entrance watching the bodies come out on a conveyor belt. Should people take Sensible precautions yes. Should we hide in our homes for fear of going outside destroying our economy destroying the lives of millions of people? No. I have worked the entire time. Even had the antibody test a week ago I've not even come in contact with it. This is being used for fear mongering by one side and one side only the side that doesn't give a fuck how many people go hungry how many people lose their homes how many people lose their jobs for one reason and one reason only is they are trying to get one man out of office that's un-American that's bullshit.

You need to update your information. The overall IFR (Infectious Fatality Rate) for covid which includes all the old overweight people with diabetes and heart disease is .26% according to the CDC which makes the overall survival rate 99.74% not 95%.

I can't speak for Atlanta but the ruckus they are making in Texas about the hospitals being close to over full is bullshit, there are 4,000 hospital cases of covid in Texas and 80,000 staffed beds in the state. In Houston and Austin they are talking about the ICU shortage a lot yet in Houston only 12% of the total ICU cases are covid and in Austin that number is 10%.

It's election year bullshit, covid isn't nothing but it's nowhere near what they are making it to be.
