I'd do the same. Most consider 'this' to be discreet and a feeling of well-being. I'd rather err on the side of caution than be caught with my pants down. Your gut is usually your best friend. Better safe than sorry! You can always offer to make it up, but the whole scenario has to be right.

In your situation you may never know if you did the right thing, but you would have always remembered if you made the wrong choice. Guys you would have had to pass probably knew why you was there and figured you had at least 150 on you. You must follow your gut if it tells you to abort your mission. Safety before pleasure.
