I do not claim to be a tech guy but my understanding is that it could be possible to reverse an app number to the actual number on the main phone. I always use a burner and phone cards that I pay for with cash. The phones are mostly lame but do everything I need. I also only access my bogus email and store photos on that phone.

Same thing happened to me about a month ago. Some bs that was word for word what you described. I had to search back a couple years but it does look like it's happened to others as well. Nothing ever came of it.

This happened to me just like it happened to you. Apparently it's a scam where they try to scare folks into giving them money. I went along with it and told them to meet me somewhere to I can deliver it to them, but they only want electronic payments. I always say use a burner phone; but really nothing will ever come of it.

I remember reading about something similar happening as well. Pretty positive nothing came of it. Bullshit threats like this happen all the time. As long as you're using a burner phone / app, you'll be fine.
