Sorry to hear about what happened to you; something very similar happened to me a year or so ago and I'm not one to let shit like that go so here are a few things you can do:

(1) If you still have the address, you can search for the name of the owner (via the home's address) on the clark county assessor's website. I suspect the home's owner was not the person who ripped you off and was likely a renter. Regardless, you can contact the owner via an an anonymous email provider and let them know what's going on their home. State that you are considering going to the police to report a crime but that you want to give the owner the chance to evict the tenant first;.

(2) If it was an apartment, you can do the same thing as above. Just send it to the apartment manager. Call for the email address if you have to. Include a link to the add or copies of the text messages in which the address was provide. State that you are considering going to the police to report a crime but that you want to give the manager the chance to evict the tenant first. Also state that you believe the tenant is receiving federal rent subsidies; that her criminal conduct is a violation of her entitlement to those benefits; and that if the manager / owner fails to evict the tenant, that you will report the apartment complext and tenant to HUD;.

(3) Send an anonymous email to crime-stoppers or LVPD detailing what happened (leaving out anything too identifying) and say that you found out the provider had done this to others and that you believe that if this continues, someone will get seriously hurt.

(4) send an anonymous email to HUD detailing as much as possible what occurred and requesting an investigation into the practices of the apartment complex;.

(5) google the phone number of the provider / criminal, locate as many of her ads as possible, report them and explain why. Also, leave a review telling people what happened.

I did much of the above and she was gone within a week. Good luck.
