Sounds like they're adopting a practice that is now a national requirement in the Dominican Republic. I lived there for three years and it had advanced to a requirement even for family members.

Thanks for that info. I know who Lancaster Liz is, I have seen her a number of times, including inside Gigi "grandmother's house" when they lived there together. Liz once told me that she was FROM NC is why I referred to her that way. I remember this specifically since I lived in the same area she said she had lived. I do remember there was another girl called NC Liz, I recall her as well. Wasn't meant to confuse.
