Paid a visit to the newly (temporarily?) relocated BCC. Last night I tried to go to Detox late at night. I'm coming from LA, so the traffic is better at night, plus I like leaving after my roommates have gone to sleep so I don't have to answer questions LOL. Anyway, I didn't make it down there until about 1. I passed by just to scope it out. Everything looked pretty clear, there weren't a lot of cars on the road or anything and I didn't see any cars in the lot that looked like LEO. I called them to see if they were still open. I had tried calling on the way down but didn't get an answer, but they picked up when I called when I was nearby. I asked who was working, and the girl said she couldn't give names. I asked if I'd still be able to come in for a walk in and she asked if I had called already. I told her I had but hadn't spoken to anybody. I opened the door and rang the doorbell, but the security guy came to the door and told me that they were closed. This was disappointing, because I had just talked to someone 15 minutes before that and they said they'd be open. My assumption is the other person who had called came in and made it before me. I'm definitely still going to give it a shot again, hopefully not as late. But it's a pain in the ass to drive down during the day.

Because of possibly contradictory reports about certain places, and my unfamiliarity with all of them, I went out this afternoon to check things out.

Harbor Spa is behind McDonalds on Harbor north of Westminster. The front door was locked, with an explanatory sign on the door. It does not have a back door. It's in Garden Grove, because the Santa Ana Garden Grove boundary runs along Westminster. East of Fairview, Westminster becomes 17th, hence the name mix-up.

Heavenly Spa is on First, east of Harbor, in Santa Ana. The front door was padlocked. But I saw a girl walking inside, opening an interior door. I went around back and saw a back door that I could knock on. So if I cave in and want to feel some bolt-ons pressing into my chest, that's where I'll go.

The one on McFadden east of Harbor, in Santa Ana, is So Relax. Its front door is wide open.
