Waitresses and bartenders are collecting NC unemployment plus the $600 weekly federal covid relief. My stepdaughter is bartending her way through college a couple nights a week. She's gone for a few hundred a week to $800 a week. Most waitresses are probably in better shape than before the pandemic.

Be interesting to see what happens in July when $600 supplement ends. Also, more state reopens, they may lose UI altogether, if their job opens back up, even if business is slow. Doubt many who weren't escorting will start, but do know at least 4 woman (2 waitresses, one bartender, one stripper) who've started online stuff.
