I guess I was very lucky. I was not a regular and had never seen her but did make arrangements with her and saw her without a problem. I drove nearly an hour to get there so I would have been really pissed if that was a wasted trip. I did keep her informed of my progress so that she felt comfortable that I was not going to flake out on her. My visit with her was really good. But I can sympathize with your frustration.
