In a state other than New York, there is a very high probability that the person in the profile is a scammer. It's as if they don't know enough geography, to pick a real city name.

I agree that is the case for 95 percent of those ads. I have ran into a couple girls over the years that for whatever reason didn't list their city perhaps for additional anonymity.

Jodie has been mentioned as a scam here. I agree, never ever do video calls or send any explicit pic until after meeting (even then, there is risk of blackmailing, extortion etc). Also, don't ever use your real phone number. Use a burner phone or google voice or something. People can easily find info on you with your phone number.

I was talking to a girl (I can't find her profile or our message on the site now) her user name was jessica for joy or something like that. In text, she immediately asked me if I have WhatsApp so we can facetime each other. That's a huge red flag. I declined and said I will only meet in person. She didn't push the issue but became silent. And later she asked me if I could do her a favor. I never responded after. Let me guess, the favor must be cashapp her some money?

I told him to fuck off and blocked the number. A few weeks ago I got another anonymous text starting with a "hey, text me back, it's important", blocked that one too. She popped back up with a new account, different name but still using Jodie and same pix. Be careful out there, they are getting creative!
