I can't believe the police presence through the Saxon area, they are virtually up every street the past week or more. I have 2 cars I cruise in, one is unmistakable and a rarity, I can't make 2 laps without a cruiser on my ass, the other is fairly common for that area, (lots of beemers in the hood) so the popo rarely give it a second look, problem is, I prefer to drive the rarity as it's easier to do whatever comes to mind, on the other hand, the leather in the beemer is easier to clean up. Decisions decisions.

Was in fair PB town today. Saw 2 very beat up SW; one had partial red hair and other one was walking with her head down. Had a pre-engagement with one. So did not stay in area long. Did the usual dxy and powerline loop nothing to brag about.

I think I saw the same pair at some point today, if the other girl was a thicc blonde girl in blue shorts. Some black guy was talking up the blonde as all 3 were walking. Didn't look all that appealing.

About 30 minutes ago I was coming down dixie and it was dead. Then about 3 streets north of 10th, I noticed 3-4 leos and an unlucky green mini van. Be careful out there.

Got a funny one.

So I'm out talent scouting at like 2 AM yesterday. Not even really interested, just couldn't fall asleep. So I took a ride (looking at the poor quality out there always puts me to sleep).

Come off 10th onto dixie north, and after about 100 yards I got some truck riding my ass. Check the mirror, didn't see a lightbar. So I slow way down to get him to go around. No dice. So I move into the right lane, and he's still hanging off my bumper. So I "pull a Maverick" (hit the brakes and he'll fly right by me). YUP. BSO.

So we get side-by-side, he rolls down his window and says "hey SickRick, I know why yer out here. Go home". Told him I was sorry for the Maverick, I didn't see his light bar. He pulled a you-IE and went along his merry way.

I guess "fame" has its cost. OTOH. Under normal circumstances, I would have been blue-lit, and we would have wasted 20 minutes and 3 backups just "going through the motions".
