When you rip the bills in "half", make sure you do it in such a way that you retain at least 60% (sixty percent) of the bill. If the girl skips out on you with the torn cash, you can still take a torn bill to the bank and exchange it for a new one as long as you have over 51 percent of the torn bill to exchange. You can not trade in a bill with less than 50 percent of the note, so the girl is out of luck at that point. If the girl was sketchy, she would usually bail once I tore the fee in half, in which case you simply get out the scotch tape and you only lost the time it took to chase down yet another scammer.
