It just doesn't seem right to air your own political views here, but accepting that you chose to do that, I would like to share a little myself (of course when we get back to being able to monger, that will then take precedent!! Trump hatred aside, as I do know it exists, let's put it aside and just look at the statement he made. Whether you are for him or hate him. His statement, " And then I see the disinfectant, that knocks it out in a minute. And is there a way you can do something LIKE, by injection, inside, or almost to clean. It sounds interesting to me. ". The word he uses is "LIKE" that. It refers to something that can be injected to clean out (the virus) BUT it doesn't imply bleach. It did not mean injecting bleach. President Trump was turning to his top health admins. I personally see it as a legitimate thought. But if bleach can kill it in 1 minute. Is there something LIKE (even possible) a medication that could be used?

However, Trump still has me as a voter, just because Obamacare nearly killed me. I never paid so much for insurance I couldn't use. As bad as he is, I am grateful to not be stuck with Obamacare anymore. After Trump effectively neutered it, it was a lot easier to get a job with health benefits. (which I pay for with pre-tax money) I paid for Obamacare with after tax money, paid full price, had a high deductible, and couldn't afford to use it.

However if you are under 50 in good health and you test positive for corona your chances of dying are about 1 in 50,000 (this was from the death rate in Italy from the Italian Health Ministry BEFORE the Cali and NY studies which are showing the infection rate to be about 25-50 times what was thought most likely it's actually 1 in a couple hundred thousand).

The body count was never going to be 10,000,000 like that douchebag in the hammer and dance said, it was never going to be the 1. 5 million like the CDC originally said. It's going to be two to three times worse than a bad flu year with is still going to be 1/3 of heart disease.

It's time to end the hysteria, there is a body count on the mitigation. In his book "The De-industrialization of America" Barry Bluestone (NE University Econ prof) says that for every 1% increase in unemployment 38,000 people die (heart attacks, poverty, stroke, suicide ect) US unemployment went up 9% in April so that's 345,000 bodies that are going to drop as a direct result of the corona mitigation.

It's time for intelligent quarantine, support those people in the risk groups in isolating and let everybody else get back to work. Nobody is suggesting having orgies in public parks except maybe Kingslayer, there is moderate space in the middle.

I won; t get into too much, but there are still plenty of people younger with no known issues that are dying. Yes a very small number. The latest is they are seeing an increase in strokes from Covid in people in 20's-40's since it tends to casue blood clots. There is an antibody (IgG & IgM) test for general coronavirus but not this specific strain of Sars-Cov-2. Testing negative obviously means you've never been exposed to any type of Coronavirus. Testing positive could mean you have it or you may have been exposed to "a" Coronavirus at some point in your life. So interpretation of the numbers will greatly vary as we've already seen.

I cannot (and I cannot emphasize "cannot" enough here), agree more with what you have just written. The truth is always in the middle if we are not too lazy to find it there and the time to find it is now.

Unfortunately, the Santa Clara study has been widely criticized for having serious methodology flaws. There are obviously many more people who have had Covid-19 than there are people who have tested positive for it and the mortality rate is far lower than that cited by the clown below. There have been approximately 11,000 Covid-19 deaths in New York City. Just think how many infections there would have to be to reach that number with the mortality rate you suggest.

Next time I visit Atlanta I'm going to pretend I'm parking at Adore or Spa 18 or any of the other parlors close to the CDC and roll down my window and see if I can pick up some better info.
