The new bay hotel on fig, which is a great hotel to bring take out to, has shifted to a walk in only format. Used to be you could use booking dot com and you never knew if your room was available. Now, it is walk in only and they answer the phone. I am not sure why, but this makes it easier for me, I will drive over there tonight and if they have a room I will be fucking a WSW.

Was out Thursday 11 am to 1 pm and there was a lot more than expected mostly in the HG but they were scattered throughout the track. Some gems and some not so good but good variety.

Warm weather had them out.

Hg was packed yesterday around 530 pm. A few more scattered with a group of about 6 at 106th.

I'd expect more of the same today. Probably all afternoon.

Bored at home. Tired of my downtown LA skid row hoes, so I decided to just get out, put on my flip flops and take in some fresh air and see LA's natural, scenic beauty. So naturally I headed down to South Central; more notably the Figueroa track.

I will do bullet points from here. I worked my way north to South. Starting at Olympic. It was not my best Recon work, but I promise to get better. If you've read my DTLA reports, you will understand.

Time: 4:46 pm to 5:30 pm.

Day: Sunday.

Weather: nice and balmy. Mid 70's.

Traffic: 5 on the NASCAR circuit (1 being the easy, final lap straightaway at Daytona. 10 being a local demolition derby in Grand rapids, Michigan). I was stuck somewhere in the middle of the pack, always four cars behind the pole position.).

At about 51st street, there was a liquor store on the right, mixed in with the ubiquitous C's of the ghetto--churches, car washes, clinics and chicken shacks. About churches: Obvious, no one got the memo that Satan was alive and well, and doing his bidding at will. As I was driving past, I saw an auburn haired LSW wearing a Puerto Rican flag shirt step out of the tiny package store and dance over to a waiting car, parked on the corner haphazardly, like a blind Korean MILF not able to comprehend the steely nerves and intricacy it takes to master parallel parking. She was pretty damn hot. So, I pulled a tighty-righty on the next block and circled around the block, getting to see the many beautiful, stately mansions that fill the SCV (I call this part of town the south central vortex. Not unlike the Black hole of Calcutta, once you have been sucked in this far, you have no choice but continue.) Unfortunately, in the two minutes that it took me to navigate thru the narrow, garbage strewn streets, discarded furniture decorating the expansive brown lawns, she disappeared. As did the monger's car. I could only surmise that by that time, she was already in the midst of refining her world-renowned, battle sharpened skills as a sword swallower. FML, I guess. A dollar short and a day late is my motto.

Little did I know that this would be the highlight of my Southward Ho! Excursion. Only two (deux) more street walkers all the way down to the Numero uno market. Two! Are you kidding me? The world famous pastoral lands known as the hottie gallery and the DMZ beyond were completely bereft of talent. As barren and dead as the Masai Mara in dry season. Although one of the SWs was a young, hottie Latina wearing a mid-drift, cutoff Pollos Hermanos that made her small but perky titts bounce up and down as she danced on the sidewalk. She was sexxy as hell, but cars kept driving past her as if she were Typhoid Mary (appropriate for these times). Although, my intentions at that point were strictly recon, I wanted to be a true contributor and get you guys some hard, cold war, CIA level intel (I believe I have just dated myself). I made a left somewhere up ahead and circled back. She was still there, gyrating hips, blithe to COVID-19 and the destruction it has wreaked to all our wallets (I manage a popular LA bar at Staples. I am done for) waving at everyone passing by. This may have been in the middle of the rolling 60's. My spider sense was tingling. No one was slowing down or pulling over. I wanted to stop and get her digits, but she was so out in the open and exposed. I was fearful of Uncle LEO at that moment. So I pulled a chicken nugget out of my corn hole and abandoned the thought. I woke up today regretting it. She would have made a nice addition to my rotation of skanks. Advice from any mongers on what would have been a legendary Robert Downeyesque maneuver to pull?

I cruised on down past Manchester, taking in the sights amidst the many tour buses packed to the brim with pink fleshed tourists from Germany and England. Past the AAA rated, 4-star Full Moon Inn, another smattering of churches, Holy houses of worship and fellowships (Ugh! See above memo on Satan).

After the Numero Uno on 91st street, located deep in the DMZ if I am correct (and please feel free to correct me mongers on my geography, this was only my third trip down the Fig. I am by no means an expert on the level of Charlie Sheen. I am more Emilio, I guess). I spotted maybe one or two more BSWS. Bottom feeders, the type I would never consider, unless I had been kidnapped by Joe Exotic and forced into a lifelong sentence of indentured servitude at his splendid Tiger Ranch, forced to endure his rednecky, tacky, unrefined, flamboyant ways of trying to bed me by force-feeding me unparalleled amounts of meth.

After the Numero Uno I hit Colden Ave, just north of Century. This is my personal Vietnam, the Do Long Bridge in Apocalypse Now (still one of my top 3 war movies of all time. Feel free to debate), the place where Roach made his last stand and went insane. It is my strict line immolated into the fucking sand, and nothing short of sighting an ad hoc, dry-humping, 3-some featuring two girls and a camel right there on the corner will get me to erase it. Beyond Century lay Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness. Some of you mongers have referred to this as HELL. "Do you know who's in charge here?" asked an incredulous Martin Sheen. Nope! I refused to enter. My sanity and wallet were very important to me. Another series of tighty-righies and I was headed North again.

Nothing much to report on the rebound trip. South to North, all the way to MLK Blvd. About 5 Black street walkers on the right. Brazen and bold, Light skinned. Young. Tall or squat. Jiggly or lean. All eager for biz. Some were very fuckable. Some of them not so. I continued on my prescribed due heading of north, back to my stomping grounds in DTLA. The trip north took about 20 minutes. Sorry for the anticlimactic ending, but I never claimed to be a journalist beyond reproach or a scheming reporter from the E network working the red carpet Oscar time. I am just a broken mortal man, doing things corrupt mortal men do.

Haven't been out in a week or two. What are the streets like right now?

A weekend or two ago, it was light on the girls and heavy on mongers who cannot drive for shit. I think this weekend should be similar. Plus there are girls out with masks. Way too much drama for what used to be a good track.
