I know this would blow up in my face if I went through with it, but it did occur to me after qualifying for PPP for my business.

I have about $8 k a month in payroll that isn't coming back, even after I give myself a whopping raise and thought about putting a trusted SB on my company payroll.

I know -- would open me up to a lawsuit or blackmail, but how fun it is to think about the government paying for 8 weeks of action?

It's not about getting out of the house, it's about whether you want to chance taking it home to the family. That would be my thoughts. You working daily are going to have a greater risk of doing that than the stay at homes. Really this isn't even thinning the herd any and without a vaccine farther down the line it's more than likely most will catch it before a vaccine. Plus the flu vaccine is a joke and so will this one if ever developed. It's going to be something to give the panicked herd something to feel good about. My thoughts are to open the country up and let this thing run its course.

You're both too pessimistic and too optimistic. The first point of delaying spread is just to keep the burden on hospitals reasonable. If we all wanted to have what NY is experiencing, business as usual is the way to go. Sweden is doing this, and it has 10-20 x the infection rate. The second point of delaying spread is to hopefully have some weapons when people become newly infected. What you prescribe would result in something like 6 million dead. Anyone you'd like to nominate to live or die? That's the situation we're trying to avoid. Seems like it's possible. Look at the graphs of progression in other countries. They're keeping their people from dying. South Korea had their first death the same day as the US. Their total now is 222.

Anybody here who lives with a SO found a way to be comfortable playing in the bowl during all this stuff? I confess I have not, and it gets more difficult to stick to the straight and narrow each day. Seem to be a fair # of girls in my city still willing to meet and play, but of course you have no idea of how much safe social distancing they're practicing -- and if they're willing to meet and likely do more with some stranger, probably no much. The only thing I can think of is to get an antibody test and hope (ironically) for a positive.

Nope, and I have posted on that here (well, in the sugar thread for LA). I am in the high risk group, given I am about to get Medicare. While I would sorta trust what a SB said to me concerning regular STDs, there's no way for them to know if they might be a carrier for COVID. What I get out of sugar arrangements, real making out, etc. , you just can't do without risking passing this virus. There's no equivalent to a condom. LOL. I am cautiously optimistic about drug therapies, which likely have a shorter horizon to make an impact compared to vaccines. Until then, I will just save up sugar when I can for the days that girls are safe.

Yes, it is true, if you were seropositive it would be a relief, at the least b / c it shows you aren't yourself going to succumb to the worst outcomes w / this virus. It is a fair guess that recovering and having antibodies makes you immune, at least for a while. This is so for many other infectious diseases. The cases where people were supposedly recovered but then got 'reinfected' I believe come from faulty testing for current infections. The DNA test, and sampling in the sinuses / back of throat, isn't perfect. Your SB would also need to be positive for antibody to make it a really sure thing. Perhaps this needs to be something you add to your SA profile. HA!

Fortunately for me I am still working as normal as I'm considered an essential worker in the food supply chain. With that being said, if I was quarantined at home with my SO I could think of a million reasons to get out of the house for a few hours if need be.

It's not about getting out of the house, it's about whether you want to chance taking it home to the family. That would be my thoughts. Hello fellow Monger. I think that during this time we all should band together to take a stand against GPS SB's. I think that once things get back to normal the SB's will be desperate. If we as mongers stand strong against the GPS SB's we can force them to come to their senses. We can drive down the price. Remember the fundamental rules of supply and demand.

These are just my humble thoughts. I am aware that some mongers may be high rollers and can easily afford the GPS SB's and that's completely fine with me. For the rest of mongers who may not agree with me I also respect those thoughts. I'm not here to tell anyone what to do just sharing some thoughts.

Let's work together and drive down the cost of mongering.

GPS can be so subjective. I look at the girls on seeking much like I look at cars. If you want to drive around in a fancy exotic it's going to cost substantially more than driving a Kia. Will the Kia get you from point A to B? Absolutely. Is this good enough to make most guys happy? Probably. The problem is that Seeking is full of Kia's that have rebadged themselves with exotic branding and think they can demand exotic prices. Those are the ones to ignore and force to reality on pricing. I only go for the young, fit, attractive babies. They seem to be easy to find on the site. The problem is that most of them are high mileage utr's so their value is much lower. Unfortunately they don't understand this game so they still ask for top dollar. When I find a young, fit, beautiful and low mileage girl I don't mind paying a premium "GPS" price.

.. in order to not forget to remove any browsing history since it does it automatically. I am sure that Click and Clean will work with other browsers but by using Chrome only for my extra curricular activities, I am able to be sure nothing is left on the computer.

All browsers support this mode where nothing is saved at the end of the session. The downside is you will not have past addresses or form data (for login) to reuse and so will have to enter them every time. I got around this by creating a separate "play" profile for FireFox and use that profile for "play" online activities but I always use this profile in private mode as I can use the bookmarks and form data that was created earlier. So I launch FireFox with this profile in normal mode go to the sites of interest bookmark them and save the login data then clear everything except form data before exiting. Subsequent use with this profile is always in private mode. Of course anyone can find this profile if they look for it so you should be willing to accept that risk the upside is your "activity" will not be visible to regular users of FireFox.

Governor KlanRobes extended the closure of non essential businesses till May 8th, but kept the stay at home order till June 10th. Not sure why a non-essential business would reopen if all the customers are told to stay at home for another 4 weeks, but I guess I'm not as smart as a politician.

In any case, I think once people are free to travel as they please, the 20 somethings and students are going to be desperate for both $ and Dick.

I suspect it will be a very fun and wild month. The POTS who joined in the online-only period will quickly go away, with probably 25% of them converting to at least one-time SBs.

My state job doesn't allow any of its employees to travel into the NOVA hot zone. Since Gov Blackface is beholden to his base up there, he will keep VA closed until that area levels off.
