An old flip phone is the best for safety and security. I doubt those ladies and pimps are smart enough to track you down when using an app on a smart phone. Just get a smartphone and make sure its not connected to your personal information and pay with cash.

As I said, the ladies or their pimps may not be able to track you but LE can. Don't kid yourself. The flip phones are not secure either. Essentially, if the phone connects to any network whether cell or wi-fi, you can be tracked and traced. The only question is whether or not it's worth anyone's time and effort to do so.

There's no technology like burner app or phoner app or any of the others out there that can completely hide you from someone with the technology to find you such as the cops. They can hide you from the ladies and the pimps, most of the time, but they can still find you. If you want to hide, your best bet is to buy a pre-paid phone (with cash) and just keep topping it up (with cash). Don't get a smart phone. They're trackable even if you turn off GPS. Get a flip phone. But, even those are not 100% safe. It's just harder for them with the older technology. But, as long as you have a phone that connects to a cell tower to make a call or send a text message, or you connect to Wi-Fi, you can be traced. That's just the reality of it because the technology wouldn't work if it couldn't be traced. You wouldn't be able to receive calls or text messages.

Thanks for the info. I had downloaded the app and set everything up. Then I get a text message that was threatening with pretty horrific photos attached. Not sure if this was some sort of prank or something.

I've heard a couple of cases of this already WTF now someone must be trolling or trying to extort you guys is it someone you've messaged before or is it just a random out of the blue message from someone random. This has to be connected somehow.

If it is an Android phone, it also can match you using your Android device I'd which Google has for every download from the Play Store. I have had no issues at all. It's been very safe and even when I don't see the provider and go see someone else better. They would message me with another number and I blocked them. It is up to you but like Chris said, what weird messages.
